Contemporary Classic

When I saw this dining room featured in the September 2010 issue of Style at Home, it reminded me of the contemporary look that I've pegged my decorating style as. Although I have a love for bling, see it here, so my style would include a chandelier or pendant in the above dining room. Here's a few other dining rooms that I love...

If I had to pin point my decorating style is would be Contemporary Classic. I like neutral walls with well edited accessories adding in a punch a colour which could be changed for seasonal variety. So, all in all, I like traditional however, with a fresh, modern twist. Trust me, it's taken a few years of looking at thousands of home interiors to figure out what I really like... and it's only been in the last 3 that I think I've figure it out. This house featured in Style at Home back in December 2007 really nailed it for me... I still love the look today.

The chandelier is a little too modern for me but I love how it mimics the six mirrors above the side cabinet.
