Feminine Condo {Classic & Colourful}

While I was pulling together fabulous photos for the bubble chandelier post, I came this gorgeous condo that stopped me in my tracks. I’m smitten.

It perfectly showcases the type of space I would love if I was single and working.

Feminine Condo Dining

I love how this condo uses colour and pattern to create a bold and confident space; it also has the right balance of feminine touches with classic elements. I feel like this condo will still feel ‘current’ years from now.

I love the bedroom, especially the grey grass cloth wallpaper. The home office has a murphy bed in the wall so it doubles as a guest bedroom – genius!

I would likely toss in a few more polished nickel pieces, more accessories and artwork, but otherwise, it’s perfect.

What do you think?

This feminine and classic inspired condo is the works of designer Drew McGukin of Drew McGukin Interiors. To see more pictures, head on over to their website or space on houzz.

Juice Marketing Group is born!

Yes, my mini break turned into a long break, but for good reason. I’m so excited to finally share this news with you. I have a new baby, she’s called Juice Marketing Group.

Juice Marketing Group snip for Desire to Decorate

Yes siree, I’m officially an entrepreneur.

Crazy? Yes.

Scary? Yes.

For good reason. I’ve shared bits and pieces of my work life with you before, and I was happy, however, earlier this year brought a change that was unexpected. In retrospect it was a good thing, mainly because the doors of opportunity really just opened from there.

Today, I want to master the art of ‘act now’ and I’m completely over the moon about this new adventure. I want to make things happen for businesses within the realm of Marketing & Social Media Marketing.

Oh, remember this pretty?…

… she’s called citrus. Commissioned her from the insanely talented Christine over at Bijou and Boheme. I was going for one-of-a-kind and original art for my website slideshow and this was perfection. Love it. Thanks again Christine!

There you have it - my big news and my reason for being scarce around here lately. I hope you’ll pop over to the Juice Marketing Group website and follow along via the blog, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn or Pinterest. Here’s a snippet of offerings… connect via social media if you need help.

P.S. The fabulous folks at Bhandari & Plater Inc. built my Juice Marketing Group website. They are truly exceptional people to work with; talented through and through. Thank you!

Taking a little break from the blog this week. Cottage time. Day trips. Special moments with my boys. Be back soon!  xo

the Bubble Chandelier

A couple of weeks ago, I shared the Morris Hanging Lantern as a popular lighting option recently. Another light fixture on my radar recently, the Bubble Chandelier by designer Lindsey Adelman for Lindsey Adelman Studio.

If I had money burning a hole in my pocket, this gorgeousness would be in my house today. Each globe is hand blown, comes in seven different glass techniques and five different hardware finish options. I love that it’s simple, yet makes a huge statement. The branching bubble in brushed brass (or brass) with clear globes is my favourite - I love these first two images…
