Stylish Shelves… in the Kitchen
After flipping through the pages of the most recent issue of covet garden, I was reminded of my Stylish Shelves series. The series has us admiring bookshelves around the house and so far we been; in the office, in the familyroom and in the dining room.

I love the idea of bookshelves in the kitchen- they add some much colour and character to a room. The first image is making me crazy- what I wouldn't do for ridiculously high ceilings and bookshelves that go on for miles:)

I actually have a bookshelf in my kitchen/dining room. I didn't put it there to be chic...I just didn't have anywhere else to put it! But I love it - it adds some colour and fun to the space!
I've always loved the idea of having bookshelves in the kitchen. Everyone needs a spot for their cook books!! ;)

I love the creativity of the shelves in the second picture. It's always great to see how people work with a design negative and turn it into a positive :-)
