Fresh Home Magazine

This past weekend the summer issue of freshHOME magazine landed on my doorstep. While an afternoon nap is never a possibility anymore, given my 4 and 2 year old boys, I was instantly captivated by this the front cover. scan0199

An indoor hammock, how cool is that? Perfect for a cottage or enclosed porch. I love how it’s unexpected - instantly creating a feeling of unwinding and relaxation. I love it!

Love this idea of camp-style bedroom. The old painted spindle beds, mismatched bedding, grommet drapery panels hung from rope, soft pastel colours are all calling out to me.

Lastly, I love how this burlap upholstered daybed turns guest room with this no-sew window treatment (hung by tension rods) and this absolutely amazing girly-girl sleep sack - I would love one.

These were the images I was drawn to, but freshHOME was filled with tons of great do-it-yourself summer ideas and I might just try one this summer, how exciting! More importantly, since this magazine was a pleasant surprise, I wonder if more will be arriving in the coming months? Until then, their website is a new find for me too so pop over here or check out their blog here, when you have a few minutes… happy reading!

All of these rooms look so relaxing! Perfect for lazy summer days!
OOOOH those images! I'm captivated too. Probably because I have children roughly the same ages as yours. One who wakes up at 5:30am. So no, a nap is never a possibility, nor a tidy home without toys and cheerios strewn everywhere ;)
