I was sourcing inspiration on the colour orange for my tumblr blog recently. I have always thought of orange as a prepping and playful colour, seeing it paired with lots of white or blue with touches of Jonathan Adler accessories. But now – now, I have a whole new appreciation for the colour, especially when paired with tan, black and gold. The orange and gold combination seems to really elevate the colour from fun to fabulous. Here’s a collection of pretty to illustrate my point… enjoy!

I really like a burnt orange with gold and tan and even chocolate brown. I am afraid of brighter orange, especially with black-too halloween. I love the gold starburst mirror with the little pop of orange in the bowl.

I do really like this combination, even though I've never personally gone for either of these colours. It's very chic and modern though!
