Here's what I picked up from the Liberty of London for Target collection...

I also picked up the set of 3 bowls as a gift for my girlfriend, a pretty t-shirt & matching purse for my girlfriends' daughter and the smaller picture frames for Liam's teachers. He was excited to give it to them yesterday and it made returning to school a little easier for him.

Vacation Home Dreaming

Feels great to be home! Isn't it weird that when you love your home you get just as excited to return home as you do leaving for a trip?... perhaps it's the special things you fill your home with and of course, sleeping in your own bed with your own pillow.

Hmmm, so while I'm happy to be home from our vacation in the 'sunshine state' today I caught myself thinking... 'what would it be like if only we had a vacation home?'. And, of course, that lead to 'what would it look like?'. See all things lead to design and home decor - it's truly all about emotion and the comforts around you. Anyway, with that, here's where my thoughts lead me today... a little bit of country for a dreamy vacation home.

Perhaps we downsize our primary home to buy a new smaller home AND a vacation home?... hmmm. Maybe that could be our retirement plan!

Pink All Grown Up!

While I was pulling together a post earlier this week, I was starting to across alot of rooms that we're decorated with pink so, I did a little more surfing and came across even more. Funny, it wasn't just limited to bedrooms or little girl rooms they were pink rooms with grown up style! As much as I love the colour, I don't think I could do it myself... even the very classy living room designed by my favorite designer Sarah Richardson for Season 2 of Sarah's House. Anyway, here's a round up of what I found - could you do pink?

Spring Fever

Perhaps it's because I've been in the 'sunshine state' for the last 2.5 weeks, I'm feeling a little spring fever. Although we've used the grey days to shop, the adventure is so uplifting as there's usually a rainbow of colours to choose from in so many things like shirts, jewelry, sandles and even bedding. So with that, I've pulled together a collection of spring inspired photo's to help keep the spring feeling alive as my trip is coming to an end. I hope they help inspire a little spring for you!

Have you noticed that birds are "in" now? I would say it's been a few months (at least since Christmas) that I've seen the imagery of birds weaving through design magazines and home decor shops. I did buy a white dove at Christmas and added it to my dining room chandelier but who knew it was going to be sooo trendy in the months to come. 

Here's a collection of bird items that I think have modern edge to them... hmm, wonder if I should add another little something?... enjoy!
